Ian Poulter’s set to get four new fans following
our request to name nine golfers who might liven up the Big Brother house with their banter.

We asked Golfmagic members to make
their nominations among the professional golf fraternity – male and female – to make up a ‘volatile group to be stuck in a clubhouse for a fortnight, with no outside communication.’

Four winners have now been chosen at random from the total entry to win a TaylorMade baseball cap personally and distinctively signed by the Ryder Cup player.

The winners are: Alex Smith from Earl Shilton, Leicestershire, Craig Harrison from Derby, Tim Belson from High Wycombe and George Bonsall from Mansfield Woodhouse in Nottinghamshire.

Tim (33) has been playing golf since he was eight years old, when his grandfather bought him a 6-iron for a fiver.
The 15 handicapper aims to join Flackwell Heath later this year.

Fourteen year-old Alex has been playing golf for 12 months, while Craig, a software engineer, started playing in April last year on the local pitch and putt and says is already shooting scores in the 80s and 90s on full-size courses.

Ian Poulter himself was one of the most popular choices in ouir poll, for his chatty skills and outrageous dress sense, alongside John Daly, whom many felt would liven up the Big Brother ‘house’ as well as provide musical accompaniment.

Sophie Sandolo, the Italian pro-ette who modelled for a raunchy calendar would provide the glamour interest alongside Michelle Wie, whom some suggested would have ‘time to do her homework.’

Inevitably Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Butch Harmon, would help stimulate the viewing figures with their potential confrontations, while Peter Alliss would probably be there to act as observer and referee.

David Feherty would be an appropriate addition to provide humour while Gary Player would represent the senior citizens and ensure there was always someone to listen to in the early hours.
