Lough Erne appoints McCool

Lynn McCool, 37-year-old former European, Asian and South African Ladies Tour pro has been appointment head professional at Lough Erne Resort where Rory McIlroy represents the complex   on the European and US PGA Tours. 

The Irish-born coach brings a wide range of skills and experience to her new role at the award winning resort, having previous been director of golf at the Hilton Templepatrick Club in Antrim and head pro at the K Club when it staged the Ryder Cup in 2006.

After a successful amateur career, winning a string of titles including the Ulster Girls Championship and earning a golf scholarship at the University of Hawaii, she began her training at the PGA headquarters at The Belfry and under the guidance of Michael Doherty the City of Derry Golf Club. As well as running golf schools and corporate golf day business she has advised on marketing and advertising campaigns. She has also broadcasted on Sky Sports Ireland and BBC Northern Ireland.
