Stoke Park Golf Scholarship: Has your child got the X-Factor?

Golf meets the X-Factor later this month when Stoke Park launches auditions for exclusive youth Golf Scholarships.

On Saturday October 27, the Buckinghamshire country club will be holding trials for budding golfers between ages ten and 16 to be shortlisted for five exclusive places at the club.

The day will consist of a series of skill tests, including short game and long game skills, as well as a number of holes played on Stoke Park’s prestigious course, under the eagle eyes of professional coaches.

“We are keen to help support the future of golf in the UK and to help nurture talent,” said Stoke Park’s director of golf Stuart Collier.

“The idea behind the scholarship programme is to holistically train the next generation of talented players, to make stars of the future.”

Following the try out day, shortlisted golfers will be invited back for an interview and then the final five will be selected.

The scholarships include free golf membership to Stoke Park, group and individual instruction, structured guidance, course management, video analysis and gym training.

To take part contact Stoke Park’s head of instruction Stuart Rank on 01753 717184 or srank@stokepark.com. Applications must be submitted by October 17.
