Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods: a look inside their golf bags for 2020

Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods have both immediately put the brand new TaylorMade SIM driver into their bags for 2020.

McIlroy and Woods have both replaced their TaylorMade M5 driver of 2019 with the new SIM (Shape In Motion) driver that features a reshaped sole design that optimises clubhead speed and enhanced aerodynamics at the most critical stage of the swing.

According to TaylorMade, "the Inertia Generator positions weight at the extreme rear for increased forgiveness and is strategically angled to reduce drag on the downswing."

McIlroy and Woods are both using a SIM driver. McIlroy is using a 10.5-degree model with a Mitsubishi Kuro Kage 70X shaft, while Woods has a 9-degree loft with a Mitsubishi Diamana D+ White 60 TX shaft. 

Woods has yet to put the SIM fairway woods in the bag yet, but he is testing them and is expected to put them in play soon.

McIlroy, on the other hand, has put the SIM fairways straight in the bag. He has also added a SIM Max Rescue to his bag.
