Five CHALLENGES for Bryson DeChambeau in the 2022 PGA Tour season
Bryson DeChambeau had a fantastic season on the PGA Tour in 2021 and we can't wait for him to return to action for the new season.
Bryson DeChambeau had a fantastic season in 2021 and he has become arguably the most recognisable figure on the PGA Tour in the last 12 months.
He used to stand out for wearing his flat cap and using his unique set of clubs, but now he draws crowds due to his incredible power and long-distance hitting.
His relentless gym work has made him a US Open champion and an eight-time PGA Tour winner. He won the Arnold Palmer Invitational back in March and was unfortunate not to win the BMW Championship.
The sky is still the limit for DeChambeau because there were some frustrating performances amongst his excellent performances last season. He has more potential to be unlocked.

Here are five challenges we would like to set for Bryson DeChambeau for the 2022 PGA Tour season.
Win the 2022 Masters
DeChambeau has never finished in the top 20 at The Masters, which must be a key frustration for his career so far. In 2016, he finished 21st at Augusta National which is his best finish to date.
In April, he took his power play to Georgia, but he failed to successfully navigate the famous venue and finished tied 46th. It would be a great breakthrough for him to go well this season and win his first green jacket.
Win a Long Drive competition
The 28-year-old competed in the Professional Long Drivers Association World Championship after the Ryder Cup, but he fell short in the Final 8 stage.
He has vowed to return "bigger and better" for his next appearance. He performed brilliantly on his Long Drive debut and he has a lot of potential to pick up a victory in this field.
He still has a lot of work to do to rival the heights set by big hitters such as Kyle Berkshire, but his seventh-place finish in Nevada showed that winning a Long Drive contest is not out of the question.
Hit a 450-yard drive
In the 2021 PGA Tour season, DeChambeau's longest drive came in the second round of the Sentry Tournament of Champions when he bombed one 414 yards.
He hit a 417-yard drive at the Ryder Cup and we all know that he is capable of some huge numbers. On the right course and with the right conditions, could DeChambeau match Kyle Berkshire and hit one over 450 yards on the PGA Tour?
Hit EVERY fairway during a round
If you focus on driving distance, this can cause your accuracy to suffer and this certainly happened to Bryson DeChambeau last season.
He was ranked 178th in driving accuracy, which is extremely low for a player who was ranked at number four in the world at one stage.
We challenge Bryson to find every fairway during a round. If he increased his accuracy, we could see DeChambeau in a lot of winner's circles.

Go back-to-back at the Arnold Palmer Invitational
DeChambeau had a great battle with Lee Westwood at Bayhill in March. He edged the win by one shot and it became an iconic moment in his career.
Matt Every won his second consecutive title at the tournament in 2015 and Tiger Woods has won the event on eight occasions. It would be a great achievement for DeChambeau to become only the eighth player to win the tournament on multiple occasions.
