Probably the most disappointing thing about this Jordan Spieth bunker shot is the footage isn't great.

This moment came during the third round of the PGA Tour's Waste Management Phoenix Open at TPC Scottsdale.

Spieth was playing No. 17. If you're an ardent golf fan you'll know this is a drivable par-4 as it's only 346 yards.

We say only, it's drivable for players like Jordan Spieth who have won multiple major championships and numerous PGA Tour titles.

There is a bit of water trouble here, which is why Spieth erred on the side of caution and tried to play a buttery cut back into the fairway.

Michael Greller to Jordan Spieth:

Spieth didn't quite manage to do what he intended as he leaked his tee shot out right. His golf ball travelled 282 yards and settled in the fairway bunker.

According to Shot Tracker, Spieth had 77 yards to the pin. This was a magical shot from Spieth. And it got the seal of approval from his caddie Michael Greller

So much so, that Greller reportedly said it was the best bunker shot he'd ever seen Spieth hit. That's quite a call considering Spieth has produced so many incredible moments down the years.

Who could forget Spieth holing out from the sand in a sudden-death playoff to capture the 2017 Travelers Championship?

The crowd went bonkers. He went bonkers.

Watch Spieth's latest shot below. Oh, and in case you were wondering, Spieth sank the putt for a birdie on his way to carding a 2-under 69.

Spieth later admitted that there was a stroke of fortune about this shot.

He told the media:

"Yeah, I could drop a bucket of balls and not hit another one inside of 10 feet. But I was in that bunker in the first round and I hit a great shot to a tucked right pin.
"I feel like it's a strength of my game is those kind of in-between bunker shots that are normally some of the most challenging shots in golf.
"For whatever reason I just feel comfortable in the uncomfortable in those kind of situations. It was nice for it to get within five feet making that birdie putt quite a bit easier.
"But I was really just trying to leave it up on top of the hill and if it happened to get the firm bounce it would be perfect and that's what happened."
