An angry Shane Lowry smacked an iron against a tree and then snapped it over his knee during the first round of The Players Championship.
Lowry, 35, was hindered behind a tree with his second shot on the par-4 15th.
But rather than chip out sideways or backwards to take his medicine, former Open champion Lowry attempted the hero shot.
He quickly regretted that decision as his ball richocheted off a tree and further right into more trouble.
Cue expletive, spitting at a tree, smacking his iron against a tree and then snapping his iron over his knee.

"Ooh, one has now become two," said Sky Sports Golf's Nick Dougherty.
It all added up to a double-bogey six and a round of 77.
Lowry has since recovered things somewhat on day two, however, with a solid 69.
That leaves him at 2-over par and with a nervous wait to see if he makes the cut.
There were two other disasters out there at Sawgrass in the first round.
One involved Nick Watney having a mare from close range on the iconic Island Green Par-3 17th.

The other saw Aaron Wise send three consecutive tee shots into the water down the par-4 18th.
