PGA Tour: How much did each team win at the Zurich Classic?

Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele produced a dominant wire-to-wire victory at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the first of its kind in tournament history.

The American duo, who have partnered up before at the Ryder Cup and the Presidents Cup, started the round with a five-shot lead and eagled the par-5 7th hole at TPC Louisiana.

They had a slight blip around the turn when they made consecutive bogeys on the 9th and 10th holes. At this point, Sam Burns and Billy Horschel made back-to-back birdies on holes 10 and 11.

Their lead was now down to one shot and Burns and Horschel had a chance. But unsurprisingly, Cantlay and Schauffele remained calm and regained a two-shot cushion with a birdie on the 11th hole.

Burns and Horschel bogeyed the 17th hole to fall three shots behind. A level-par 72 was enough for Cantlay and Schauffele to secure a two-shot win on 29-under-par.
