Phil Mickelson had quite the compliment for his PGA Tour colleague Tony Finau as the two prepared for this week's American Express in California.
Mickelson took part in a couple of challenges on Wednesday, one involving hitting drives with Finau and another in a 19-feet deep bunker alongside Englishman Paul Casey.
Finau is known for his power off the tee, which can be quite the spectacle at times given his fairly short swing and Mickelson seemed to enjoy the stripe show yesterday.

"Get some. Oh my word. You have never been so attractive as right now, Tony," said Mickelson, which caused laughter all around him.
Later on at PGA West, Mickelson took on Casey in a bunker challenge, with the trap being 19-feet below the green.
As Mickelson entered the bunker to take his shot, Golf Channel commentator Brian Hammons took a moment to remind the five-time major winner of his history with the testing trap.
"Well Phil, I'm looking at some numbers here as we prepare for your next challenge, which I think is very clever," said Hammons. "Unfortunately, your last three trips to this bunker, you've left it in there twice. You did get them both up-and-down for par."
"I'll bet you're a real thrill at parties Brian," responded Mickelson sarcastically.

Mickelson surprisingly failed to get the ball on the green and Casey took his chance to gloat after beating Mickelson in a short-game challenge for what he believes is the first time.
"If I've gotten closest to the pin, that might be the first time in 20 years Phil I've got inside you on a bunker shot," said Casey.
