Russell Henley extended his lead from three to six shots after remaining bogey-free through 54 holes at the PGA Tour's World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.

Henley, who opened with a pair of 63s, added another flawless round of 65 to move to 22-under par for three rounds.

He birdied 1, 5, 6 and 8 to go out in 32 shots, and then returned with further birdies on 13 and 15 to put one hand on the trophy.

Henley, 33, is bidding to win a fourth career PGA Tour title and first in more than five years in Mexico.

His last win came back at the 2017 Shell Houston Open.

Henley, who has incredibly not made a single bogey all week so far, now finds himself six shots clear of Will Gordon (68) and Patton Kizzire (67) heading into the final round.

Ireland's Seamus Power, who won his second career PGA Tour title in Bermuda last week, holed-out three times including an ace on the par-3 8th and he looks on from 15-under par in solo fourth.

Joel Dahmen produced one of the shots of the day on the 17th hole when nearly holing his drive for an albatross. Dahmen progressed to 12-under par.

Elsewhere, Collin Morikawa, who is on 11-under par, was fuming during his post-round interview following the comments of commentator Trevor Immelman.

The South African says his comments were misunderstood, but Morikawa was not quite so sure.
