Travelers Championship Round 1 & 2 tee times: Scheffler grouped with Spieth
Rory McIlroy will tee off with Kevin Kisner and Webb Simpson in the first two rounds at TPC River Highlands, while Scottie Scheffler is with Jordan Spieth and Zach Johnson.
World No.1 Scottie Scheffler has been grouped with Jordan Spieth and 2023 US Ryder Cup captain Zach Johnson for the first two rounds of the Travelers Championship.
Scheffler came agonisingly close to winning his second major title at the US Open last week, but he came one shot short of eventual winner Matt Fitzpatrick.
Jordan Spieth won the Travelers Championship in 2017 after beating Daniel Berger in a playoff. Spieth won his 13th PGA Tour title at the RBC Heritage earlier this season.
Rory McIlroy has been grouped with four-time PGA Tour winner Kevin Kisner and former US Open champion Webb Simpson for the rounds on Thursday and Friday at TPC River Highlands.
2022 US PGA champion Justin Thomas will play with five-time PGA Tour victor Xander Schauffele and Tom Hoge, who won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am back in February.
Brooks Koepka is no longer in the field this week in Cromwell. The 32-year-old had entered prior to the news that he would be joining the LIV Golf Invitational Series.
