Jordan Spieth was involved in a comical moment during the third round of the Memorial.

I have a question for you: why can't Jordan Spieth go a week on the PGA Tour without doing something or something happening to him that is simply hilarious?!

I posit that if this were to happen to any other player it wouldn't nearly be as comical.

But Spieth? The man is just a content king whether he knows it or not.

Like many of the top golfers on the planet, Spieth is competing at the Memorial Tournament at the Jack Nicklaus-designed Muirfield Village this week.

It's been given designated status, which means that big bucks are on the line.

It goes without saying that every shot counts, which is why this birdie putt had Spieth's full attention during the third round.

Then his concentration was broken...by the sound of a train honking.

I had a joke lined up about how his train of thought was broken but about 145,000 people on the Internet already beat me to the punch.

Anyway, Spieth laughed off the moment and settled into his routine once again. He didn't make the putt, but cleaned up a par.

By day's end he was three strokes back of Rory McIlroy heading into the final round after posting a level par round of 70.

Spieth is searching for 14th PGA Tour title whereas Northern Ireland's McIlroy is searching for his 24th.
