Jon Rahm Biography

Jon Rahm Rodríguez is a Spanish professional golfer widely considered to be one of the best players in the world. 

In December 2023 he joined the LIV Golf League for a reported £450m. 

At the time, he stated he wanted to continue playing on the PGA Tour and DP World Tour.

Rahm was born on 10 November 1994 in Barrika, Basque Country to Edorta Rahm and Angela Rodriguez. 

He attended Arizona State University in the U.S. on a golf scholarship. 

It was there Rahm met Kelley Cahill. The pair dated for a number of years and married in 2019 in Rahm's hometown. 

The couple have two children, both boys. 

Kepa Cahill Rahm was born in April 2021. Eneko Cahill Rahm was born in August 2022. 

Rahm turned professional in 2016 after a stellar amateur career and gained his PGA Tour card for the 2017 season.

Rahm claimed his first PGA Tour victory at the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2017 with a 60-foot eagle putt on the final hole. 

As of October 2022, Rahm has won seven times on the PGA Tour and eight times on the European-based DP World Tour. 

Rahm claimed his maiden major championship at the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines.

Outside of golf, Rahm is a keen supporter of the Basque football Athletic Club Bilbao. 

He lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. His nickname is Rahmbo. 

As of 2022, Forbes estimated his net worth to be in the region of $16m. 

Rahm made his debut for Ryder Cup Europe in 2018 at Le Golf National in Paris for Thomas Bjorn's side. 

The highlight of his Ryder Cup career came in the form of beating Tiger Woods 2&1 in the Sunday Singles.
