The new Cleveland Golf TFi 2135 putters are arguably the best new flatsticks on the market that you are probably not considering in 2016.

Cleveland Golf has implemented what it labels 'revolutionary new technology' with 2135 alignment technology, which effectively raises the alignment line on the putters to the exact radius of a golf ball (21.35mm).

As far as forgiving putters go, this one is up there with the best as the company has taken 100g out of the face and stuck it in the rear to create a very high MOI (resistance to twisting) putter.

Cleveland Golf TFi 2135 putter - Looks and Feel

Testing out the 1.0 blade version during the PGA Show Demo Day in Orlando, we instantly loved the eye-catching, tour-inspired design that features a milled, copper-infused face cap over a copolymer insert.

The bronze face really does mix well with the black design and helps to fixate your eyes over the ball along with the new alignment technology.

We received a very smooth, consistent roll on all types of putt, were consistently rolling home the short ones and could not be more impressed with the distance control from long range.

The insert felt particularly soft at impact and we enjoyed consistent speed across the face no matter the strike.

The new 2135 alignment technology allowed us to set up over the ball perfectly no matter the stroke or address position. The key feature of this putter never moves relative to the ball because it is placed at the most optimal position for precision alignment, which is at dead centre of the ball.

Should you buy the Cleveland Golf TFi 2135 putter?

The new Cleveland Golf TFi 2135 1.0 is one of our favourite blade putters for the new season.

It will certainly be a difficult task for Cleveland Golf to compete with the bigger putter brands this year, but we believe it has got a better chance than it ever has before with the new TFi 2135 family.

At £99, this one offers fantastic value for money.
