PRICE: £499.00 YEAR: from 2018

Titleist has been working on a two-year mission to deliver more speed into their drivers. It's fair to say the brand has done exactly that with Titleist TS2 driver and TS3 driver, creating two of the best golf drivers you can buy.

“Titleist Project Speed” is a mission to create greater speed in every detail of their drivers. The new TS2 and TS3 models are designed to deliver faster ball speeds with higher launch, lower spin and increased MOI for huge distance.

From the moment I clasped hands on both TS2 and TS3 during my custom fitting, I could not wait to give them a rip. For us, both drivers appeal more so than any other Titleist driver before them, and perform better than ever in terms of ball speed and offline dispersion.

Titleist TS2 and TS3 - Key Features

The Titleist TS2 and TS3 drivers are two clubs that have been designed to provide exceptional distance and accuracy. Both drivers are equipped with the same technologies, including a streamlined head shape and a lightweight shaft, providing a combination of speed and forgiveness.

The TS2 and TS3 each have a lightweight titanium face, designed to help maximise ball speed and distance. The club face also has a variable thickness design, which promotes a higher launch angle and increased forgiveness. The club head is also slightly larger, providing a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) for increased stability and forgiveness on off-centre hits.

The TS2 and TS3 drivers also feature a more aerodynamic head shape, which reduces drag during the downswing for improved accuracy. Additionally, both clubs are equipped with Titleist’s SureFit Hosel, which allows the player to adjust the loft and lie angle for a more optimised ball flight.

Titleist TS2 vs TS3 driver - What’s better for you?

When it comes to purchasing a Titleist driver, the choice between the TS2 and TS3 drivers can be a difficult one. Both drivers offer a combination of speed and forgiveness, but the decision ultimately comes down to which driver best suits your game.

The TS2 driver is designed for players who want a fast, powerful, and forgiving driver. The lightweight titanium face and variable thickness design provide a higher launch angle and increased ball speed. Additionally, the larger head size provides a higher Moment of Inertia (MOI) for greater forgiveness and stability on off-centre hits.

The TS3 driver is also designed for speed and forgiveness, but it is more focused on control and accuracy. The streamlined head shape and adjustable hosel allow for a more optimized ball flight, and the lightweight shaft provides a smooth, consistent feel through the swing.

Ultimately, the choice between the TS2 and TS3 drivers comes down to your style of play and the type of performance you want from your driver.

If you’re looking for maximum power and forgiveness, then the TS2 driver is the best choice. If you’re looking for more control and accuracy, the TS3 driver is the way to go.

Should you buy the Titleist TS2 driver or the TS3?

Overall, the Titleist TS2 and TS3 drivers each offer exceptional distance and accuracy.

With their streamlined aerodynamic head shape, lightweight titanium face, and adjustable SureFit Hosel, the TS2 and TS3 drivers provide a combination of speed and forgiveness.

For us, the TS3 was the more impressive of the two terms of distance and forgiveness, but the TS2 came very close to matching it.

It's very pricey at £500, but the TS3 packs a serious punch regarding performance. Well worth giving this one a serious look if you get the chance.
