Andy Murray gets heckled on golf course just like Rory McIlroy at Ryder Cup
Watch: Tennis legend Andy Murray had to back off one of his shots during the Dunhill Links after being hilariously heckled by a dog.
It's fair to say the crowd heckles at this week's Dunhill Links on the DP World Tour are a little different to the ones experienced by Rory McIlroy and the rest of Team Europe at the Ryder Cup at Bethpage last week.
A week after Luke Donald's Europeans were subjected to some of the worst verbal abuse and insults in Ryder Cup history, especially McIlroy and his wife Erica, a hilarious video has emerged of tennis ace Sir Andy Murray being heckled by a dog at Kingsbarns.
The moment was captured by golf content creator Hannah Holden during the second round of the Dunhill Links Championship.

Murray, a 3-handicap player, is teaming up with Tour pro Eddie Pepperell in the iconic DP World Tour pro-am event.
The British tennis legend is fanatical about golf and even has ambitions to qualify for The Open in the future.
Should Murray wish to enter Regional Open Qualifying then he will need to get down to a handicap index of 0.4.
But now retired from tennis, Murray is putting more effort into golf, similarly to football legend Gareth Bale who plays off scratch.
Earlier this week, GolfMagic took a deep dive into Murray's golf bag.

Andy Murray heckled on course like Rory McIlroy
As we join the viral video, which you can watch below, Murray was standing over an approach shot from the rough at Kingsbarns.
As the three-time grand slam tennis champion placed his Callaway iron behind the ball and shuffled into the shot, a spectator's dog completely put him off his stride.
Laughs then broke out from Murray and the rest of the fans in the gallery.

McIlroy's biggest issue with heckles at the Ryder Cup was not so much the insults but the fact unruly Americans were shouting out while he was stood over a shot.
Shane Lowry just had to be held back from going after someone in the crowd...

Murray and his teammate Pepperell are 15-under par after 36 holes at the Dunhill Links following rounds of 65 and 64.
That leaves them in T25 heading into their final round at St Andrews on Sunday.
A group of leaders are at 24-under par.

Murray had something of a shocker in the bunker during the second round too.
