Lando Norris and Zak Brown will return to the fairways at Wentworth Club later this season, with both confirmed for the 2026 BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am on Wednesday 16 September.

The pair will once again swap the cockpit for the tee box as part of the star-studded curtain-raiser to the DP World Tour's flagship event of the season, the BMW PGA Championship, which continues to blend world-class golf with celebrity appeal at one of the sport’s most recognisable venues.

Norris, now the 2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ World Champion, returns to Wentworth in Surrey, England, for a third appearance in the Pro-Am.

The McLaren driver has become a familiar face at the event in recent years, previously teaming up with Ryder Cup stars Tyrrell Hatton in 2022 and Matt Fitzpatrick in last year’s edition.

Brown will make his second appearance at the Celebrity Pro-Am, having previously partnered with Justin Rose in 2025.

The American has overseen a transformative period at McLaren Racing, guiding the team to back-to-back Formula 1 Constructors’ Championships in 2024 and 2025, while expanding its footprint across IndyCar, F1 Academy, sim racing and endurance racing programmes.

McLaren entered the world of golf earlier this season by launching brand new irons.

Rose is now an ambassador for McLaren Golf, as too Ian Poulter and Michelle Wie West.

The BMW PGA Championship Pro-Am once again promises a strong mix of sporting and entertainment figures, with organisers confirming further names will be announced in the build-up to September.

“We’re thrilled to once again welcome Lando Norris and Zak Brown back to the BMW PGA Championship Celebrity Pro-Am, courtesy of our partners at DP World,” said Darrell O’Hora, Championship Director of the BMW PGA Championship.

“The pair brought incredible energy and atmosphere to last year’s event, and we look forward to adding to our great memories together in a few months’ time.

“More exciting names will be announced soon for this year’s Celebrity Pro-Am, with it once again shaping up to be a day to remember, and we hope to see fans of all ages joining us as part of the Festival of Golf this September.”

The Celebrity Pro-Am acts as the traditional opening spectacle for tournament week at Wentworth Club, just outside London, with over 100,000 spectators expected across the festival.

A host of superstar names will align in the BMW PGA Championship from 17-20 September, with the likes of Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood in the field.
