Tommy Fleetwood succeeded in his plan to win in front of his son Frankie for the first time this week by capturing the inaugural DP World India Champiomship at Delhi Golf Club.
Fleetwood, 34, fired a stunning 7-under 65 to come from two shots behind entering the final round to win by two shots over Japan's Keita Nakajima.
The popular Englishman finished the week at 22-under par to capture his eighth DP World Tour title.
The victory continues what has been the season of Fleetwood's career to date.
Fleetwood finally clinched his first PGA Tour title at the Tour Championship in August, which also saw him etch his name on the season-long FedEx Cup title.
He then top scored for the week at the Ryder Cup last month to help Luke Donald's European Ryder Cup team once again defeat the United States.
Fleetwood banked four points from five sessions at Bethpage Black.
But fast forward three weeks to the inaugural DP World India Championship in New Delhi, and Fleetwood notched his first win of the DP World Tour season.
He won €580,057 in the process - check out how much all the players earned at the DP World India Championship.
The victory proved even sweeter for Fleetwood as he got to win in front of his eight-year-old Frankie for the very first time.
Fleetwood admitted Frankie's urgings last week during a home game between father and son gave him added motivation to win the tournament.
After tapping in for par on the 18th green to see out a two-shot victory, Fleetwood told the story to Sky Sports Golf:
"So we were at home last week and we were just driving the buggy playing golf together and he [Frankie] just says randomly 'do you know what you've never done, you've never won a tournament and then I've been able to run onto the 18th green.' I was like I'm writing that down so I've had that written down all week. It was just another opportunity, there's going to be many more times where I hopefully get the chance to do that but all day today I had in my mind could I put myself in a position where I could make that moment happen, so just one of those little things, means a lot to me, so much to me. That's what I wanted to do all day."

Frankie Fleetwood first shot to viral fame earlier this season when he gave a brilliant interview during the annual Masters Par-3 Contest at August National.
Watch that here:
Fleetwood now vaults 69 spots up the DP World Tour Rankings to 25th.
He was already assured of his place in next month's DP World Tour Playoffs in Abu Dhabi and Dubai as a result of him being on Luke Donald's 2025 European Ryder Cup team.
The same scenario applies to Shane Lowry, who finished in a tie for third to nudge himself up 47 spots to 105th in the rankings. Lowry is assured of his place in the Playoffs because he was a member of the Ryder Cup team.
Ludvig Aberg and Sepp Straka can also bank on that rule at 75th and 148th in the rankings too, should they wish to compete in the Playoffs.
Elsewhere, Viktor Hovland finished in a tie for sixth on 17-under par.
Tournament favourite Rory McIlroy failed to ignite though finishing down the board on 11-under par in a tie for 26th,.
On a final day of low scoring, McIlroy was left disappointed to finish the week with a round of 71 - his worst score of the four days.
