Every Odyssey Putter Explained: Which model is right for you?
GolfMagic rounds up all the current offerings from the biggest name in putting.

From PGA Tour players like Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele to everyday hackers (and even Happy Gilmore), no putter manufacturer has grown to become quite as ubiquitous at all levels of golf as Odyssey.
The Callaway-owned brand is by some distance the most dominant brand in the putting space, their industry-leading tech and wide range of choices to suit multiple different budgets setting them apart from more expensive, exclusive brands like Scotty Cameron and L.A.B golf.
Per PGA Club tracker, 54 Odyssey putters are currently gamed at the tour level, the most of any brand by some margin, meaning that the brand remains as enduringly popular with the world's very best players as it is with average players investing in a new putter for the very first time.
Part of Odyssey's enduring popularity is its commitment to outstanding feel and build quality from its very most expensive models to its absolute cheapest, with premium materials and features like the brand's famed White Hot insert material featuring throughout all their lines.
As such, we've decided to put together a short and sweet guide to all of Odyssey's currently available putter ranges, aiming to give new players thinking of investing in an Odyssey putter a short and simple guide to all of its different models and which one is right for you.
Odyssey, of course, make countless different putter shapes, ranging from traditional blades like the #1 and #2 to iconic mallet shapes like the #7, Jailbird and Rossie.
Listing them all here would be a thankless task, and with putter preference being such a subjective thing, we'd always recommend testing each shape out in person, or better yet, getting fitted for the type of putter that best suits your stroke.
What we can do, however, is break down all of Callaway's key ranges so you can dial in on the putter model that best suits your level and preferred feel.

Odyssey Tri-Hot Square 2 Square
Price: £499-£529
Best for: The ultimate in zero-torque performance
The brand new flagship line in the Odyssey range, the Tri-Hot Square 2 Square line represents a step forward for the brand in both tech and price. Dressed in a distinctive red colour scheme, the Tri-Hot S2S line comprises four iconic Odyssey head shapes and introduces some key tech Odyssey believes could prove a game changer in the zero torque putter space.
Chief among these is decision to move the shaft of the S2S Tri-Hot forward towards the face of the putter, giving it a more conventional centre-shafted look at address and eliminating the need for players to excessively forward press to get the ball rolling optimally.
The Tri-Hot range also gets a new Ai Dual insert, made from dual-density pieces of urethane to deliver a soft feel with consistent speed and updated with a new forward roll groove design for more consistent roll up and down the face.

Odyssey Ai-ONE/Ai-ONE Silver
Price: £289
Best for: Classic performance with cutting-edge tech
Odyssey's Ai-ONE line remains the brand's flagship conventional putter range, comprising a range of its most iconic shapes covering traditional bladed putters, mallet players and a wide range of different strokes.
The Ai-ONE range also houses Odyssey's latest tech, with an Ai-designed Ai-ONE insert with an aluminium backer and a White Hot urethane surface for a pure roll and that classic Callaway feel. The range also comes with a new SL 90 Stroke Lab steel shaft for optimum stability.
For the purists, the Ai-ONE silver range presents all this tech with a sleek, minimalist silver finish.

Odyssey Ai-ONE Milled
Price: £449
Best for: High-end stability with a premium milled feel
Keeping much of the tech from the core Ai-ONE range but providing an even more luxurious experience, the Ai-ONE milled range is the Grand Tourer to the Ai-ONE's supercar. Not much separates the two from an aesthetic perspective, however the upgraded milled insert on the Ai-ONE Milled is ideal for those who prefer the feel and feedback of a milled face putter.
Also designed using AI, the AI-One milled insert is milled from 100% titanium with unique contours on the back of the insert that minimise speed loss on off-centre hits.

Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square
Price: £289
Best for: An approachable entry-level zero-torque experience
Formerly Odyssey's flagship zero torque line before it was supplanted by the Tri-Hot series, the Ai-ONE Square 2 Square range still delivers an experience that'll help plenty of golfers transition smoothly into a zero torque putter if they've not played one before.
Engineered to look and feel a little more approachable than putters from dedicated zero torque brands, the Ai-ONE S2S line uses a modern centre shafted design and built-in forward press to promote a consistently square putter face throughout the stroke, delivering an on-line roll every time with minimal user input.
It also borrows all the premium tech from the standard Ai-ONE range, providing consistency and that classic Odyssey soft feel that so many golfers love.

Odyssey DFX
Price: £149
Best for: Premium performance in an affordable package
The perfect entry point to premium putters for more budget-conscious players, the newly updated Odyssey DFX line updates some of the brand's most iconic putter shapes with a clean charcoal finish and, of course, the DFX insert which provides Odyssey's softest feel off the face and plenty of forgiveness on off-centre strikes.
All DFX putters also come with premium features like a steel shaft for stability and high-end pistol grips, giving entry-level players and low-handicappers a reliably premium feel with every stroke.
