Bryson DeChambeau confirms full equipment rebuild for 2026 LIV Golf season
Bryson DeChambeau reveals he's about to change everything in his golf bag ahead of LIV Golf's season opener in Riyadh.
Bryson DeChambeau has confirmed he will make extensive equipment changes ahead of the 2026 LIV Golf League season, revealing plans to rebuild his entire set of clubs before the campaign begins in Riyadh this February.
Never one to stand still with his setup, DeChambeau, 32, has long been recognised as one of the most experimental players in professional golf. With a background in physics and a reputation for testing unconventional ideas, the Crushers GC captain has regularly adjusted his equipment in pursuit of marginal gains.
As a free agent in the equipment market, DeChambeau is not tied to any manufacturer and has the freedom to build a bag entirely to his own specifications. He is one of a number of high-profile golfers entering 2026 without long-term equipment contracts.
At the end of the 2025 season, the LIV Golf superstar was gaming a mixed setup that included a Krank Formula Fire LD driver and fairway wood, customised LA Golf BAD irons, PING Glide 4.0 wedges, a SIK Pro C-Series armlock putter and a Titleist Pro V1x Double Dot golf ball. However, that configuration may now be short-lived.
Speaking to Mirror US Sports, DeChambeau confirmed major equipment changes are on the horizon.
"We're close on the equipment," said DeChambeau. "I'm rebuilding my whole entire set, so you'll see some equipment here soon. I think that first tournament back when we're in Riyadh is going to be quite interesting."
While DeChambeau did not offer specifics on which brands or designs he will put into play, the scale of the overhaul suggests a markedly different setup when LIV Golf begins its 2026 season in Saudi Arabia.

Away from equipment, DeChambeau has also been part of wider discussions this week following Brooks Koepka’s stunning return to the PGA Tour.
Koepka, 35, was reinstated under a new Returning Membership policy, becoming the only LIV Golf player so far to take that option.
Despite speculation, DeChambeau has confirmed he will see out the remaining year of his reported $125m LIV Golf contract in 2026.
It's understood the two-time US Open champion and YouTube sensation is holding out for an extended multi-year $500m deal to remain on LIV Golf.
If that happens, he would become the highest-paid LIV Golf player, earning more than Jon Rahm, who signed for a reported $300m in 2024.
What happens beyond the financial side of things remains unknown, but for now the focus for Bryson is firmly on performance as he gets set for LIV Golf's fifth season in operation.
With significant changes planned and the season opener fast approaching, DeChambeau’s new-look bag will be one of the more closely watched storylines when LIV Golf tees off in Riyadh.
What do you make of Bryson's decision to change his entire golf bag in 2026?
Has he made the right call to see out his LIV Golf contract, or should he have followed in Koepka's footsteps back to the PGA Tour?
