LIV Golf announce changes to their qualifying school
LIV Golf have announced two players from their Promotions event will be fully exempt on the breakaway tour in 2026.

LIV Golf have confirmed two players from their qualifying school tournament will be fully exempt on the breakaway tour in 2026.
The PIF-backed league announced details of their Promotions event on 3 November.
LIV Golf Promotions will be held over 8-11 January at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida.
The format remains unchanged, with competitors taking part in four rounds of stroke play and scores being re-set and carried over at different stages.
The top two finishers will be fully exempt in the LIV Golf League in 2026. The champion will also scoop the top prize of $200,000.
LIV staged their first Promotions event in 2023, with Kalle Samooja, Kieran Vincent and Jinichiro Kozuma earning spots in the league.
Max Lee earned full-time status last year.
Professional golfers have until 15 December to complete their registration.
The lengthy eligibility requirements can be found on LIV's official website.
"LIV Golf continues to expand pathways for players around the world to qualify into the first truly global golf league," LIV Golf CEO Scott O'Neil said in a statement.
"As fan interest in LIV Golf continues to increase and the opportunity to compete across the U.S., Asia Pacific, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East against some of the biggest names in golf grows, it's only natural that we broaden access for talented, ambitious players to earn their way into the league."

4 | Sunday | 18-hole stroke play (scores carry over from Round 3) | Play-off only as needed to determine winner and/or second place |
The news means that, in total, there will be four new additions to LIV Golf in 2026 via official pathways.
That is because it has also been confirmed the leading two players in the International Series standings will also be fully exempt on LIV next season.
It is widely assumed the recent changes are being made in an effort to bolster LIV's bid for world ranking accreditation.
