Collin Morikawa's new caddie Mark Urbanek believes the "sky is the limit" after the golfer ended his trophy drought on the PGA Tour

Morikawa birdied the 72nd hole of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am last Sunday to snatch a one-shot victory over Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka.

It represented Morikawa's first win on the PGA Tour since the 2023 ZOZO Championship in Japan.

Morikawa went into the second signature event of the 2026 season low on confidence but showed glimpses of his old self in California.

And Urbanek, Morikawa's fourth caddie since his surprise split with JJ Jakovac last season, is excited to see what the 29-year-old will accomplish this season.

"It's scary to watch, honestly," Urbanek told SiriusXM PGA Tour radio.

"Like, when somebody that's an elite ball-striker as Collin is, when he's on his game, and you have a front row seat, it's hard to put it into words.

"Honestly, you feel like you're playing a video game and you better not be wrong with what you're saying to him, cause it's going to do exactly what he says it's going to do."

Morikawa talked about his struggles over the last two years after he leapt into contention after his second round.

He said some of his results have been "heart-breaking".

"When you feel like I'm putting in my absolute everything, I'm missing the cut or I'm finishing 30th, and you're like man, what's going on?" said Morikawa.

"Because I know deep down inside me like I'm a competitor, I feel like I can play against the top players in the world, even a guy like Scottie Scheffler when he's playing great.

"Like, you know, I still believe that and until the day I don't, I'm going to keep going head on."

Urbanek believes the result for Morikawa will make him a force to be reckoned with in the major championships this year.

"It's very fun to watch, and he's a very special player and I'm very excited to see what he can accomplish, because you know, I think that the sky's the limit for that kid."
