Keegan Bradley caddie: Who is on the bag for the Ryder Cup captain?
Who is the caddie for American Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley? Scott Vail has been on his bag since 2017, here's a few notes about the Canadian.
Keegan Bradley is an eight-time winner on the PGA Tour and one of only six players in golf history to win on his debut in a major championship, but who does he have on the bag?
Bradley turned professional in 2008 and began his pro career on the Hooters Tour, graduating to the Korn Ferry Tour in 2010 and finishing 14th in the money list to earn his PGA Tour card for the 2011 season.
After a promising start in the big leagues, Bradley broke through with victory at the Byron Nelson Championship, but he announced himself as a force in world golf when he took the PGA Championship by storm.

September, 2018 | BMW Championship |
October, 2022 | ZOZO Championship |

The then 25-year-old defied his major inexperience to edge out Jason Dufner in a three-hole playoff at the Atlanta Athletic Club - the first major win for a player using a long putter!
After securing the PGA Tour rookie of the year award for 2011, Bradley won only one title over the next six seasons - a barren run that prompted him to turn to a new caddie.
Bradley split with Steven "Pepsi" Hale in 2016, and the following year he linked up with another experienced looper in Scott Vail, who remains on Bradley's bag today.
Vail, whose father, Eric, played ice hockey for Canada and several teams in the NHL, was already a successful caddie on Tour having been with Brandt Snedeker for 12 years - a period which included his FedExCup triumph in 2012.
Bradley pipped Justin Rose to the BMW Championship title in 2018 to end a six-year winless run, although he would not win again until the ZOZO Championship in October 2022.
The American Ryder Cup captain has since won a pair of Travelers Championship crowns and another BMW Championship with Vail alongside him as a trusted caddie, confident and close friend.
Many expected Vail to follow in his father's ice skates and pursue a career in hockey, but he developed a passion for golf and started working at the Oshawa Golf Club, about 30km east of Toronto and close to the banks of Lake Ontario.
Vail caddied on the Canadian Tour and the Korn Ferry Tour before he joined forces with Snedeker. During their 12 years together, Snedeker won eight times on the PGA Tour before parting ways, allowing Vail to join up with Bradley.
Bradley has often praised his bagman for his friendship, loyalty and unwavering support, while Vail is also known for his insightful views and opinions in all things golf.
