Tour chief hints at possible Tiger Woods return in 2026
The president of the PGA Tour Champions has revealed what preparations are being made if and when Tiger Woods decides to play in 2026.
Tiger Woods has not revealed if and when he will return to the golf course after recently undergoing more surgery on his back.
The 49-year-old went under the knife again last month to have a disc replacement surgery in New York - the seventh back surgery of his career - after experiencing some pain and discomfort.
It was all the more frustrating for Woods given the month prior footage surfaced of the 15-time major champion hitting balls at a clinic for the first time since rupturing his left achilles in March.

Miller Brady, the president of the PGA Tour Champions, is certainly hoping that Woods' is back on the fairways in 2026 given the golfer turns 50 in December and will finally be eligible for some senior golf.
The over 50s circuit released their schedule earlier in the week and Woods may decide to tee it up in certain events in preparation for the four major championships.
Brady told Golf Channel that the senior US tour is "ready" if and when Woods decides to play.
"We've done some whiteboarding over the past year in preparation for Tiger turning 50. And if and when he plays, our tournaments are prepared.
"It is going to be more. Security, buses, portalets, concession stands - all of that is taken into account when we plan for that."
Brady added: "To be honest with you, given the last surgery, I just hope Tiger gets back on his feet and is able to play golf again."
Woods has not played in an event since last December's PNC Championship in Florida.
He has played in the previous five editions of annual parent/child PGA Tour event with his son Charlie.
Last year, the pair finished runner-up to Bernhard Langer and his son.
