It won't be too long until the men's major championship golf season is officially upon us.

We were treated to an incredible 2025 and this year promises to be just as special.

Rory McIlroy completed the career grand slam with his play-off victory at The Masters, ending his 11-year wait for a fifth major title.

The achievement also saw McIlroy become the first European player in history to win the four men's majors.

Elsewhere, Scottie Scheffler continued his dominance at the top of the rankings with victories at the PGA Championship and The Open.

Scheffler also won four regular season PGA Tour events and was crowned the player of the year for the fourth year running.

America's J.J. Spaun won an absorbing U.S. Open at Oakmont, draining a 64-foot birdie putt on the final hole to break Bob MacIntyre's heart.

Scheffler will have the opportunity to become the latest member of the grand slam club at this year's U.S. Open.

The tournament also coincides with Scheffler's 30th birthday.

Take a closer look at the key dates for the 2026 golf season below.
