Xander Schauffele fires back at Tom Kim's 'bad sportsmanship' claim
Xander Schauffele says he does not believe the U.S. golfers were swearing at Tom Kim during the third day of the 2024 Presidents Cup.
Xander Schauffele says he finds it hard to believe some members of the U.S. team were cursing at Tom Kim during the third day of the 2024 Presidents Cup.
The two-time major champion and his good buddy Patrick Cantlay defeated the International pairing of Si Woo Kim and Tom Kim in the Saturday foursomes.
Their absorbing match went down to the wire, with Cantlay sinking a huge birdie putt at Royal Montreal's 18th to pile the pressure on Si Woo Kim.

The South Korean failed to convert his birdie putt to share a point which meant Jim Furyk's dozen took the session 3-1.
They will take an 11-7 lead into the Sunday singles.
Tom Kim's immediate response was to accuse the U.S. side of behaving in an unsporting manner.
"I could hear some players cursing at us," he said.
"That part wasn't really... I don't think there was good sportsmanship there.
"But it's all part of the fun. I understand it."
A reporter asked Schauffele: "Tom Kim was in here not long ago, and he said he heard some players cursing at him and that he didn't think there was good sportsmanship out there.
"I just thought it was fair to give you guys a chance to respond or comment?"
Schauffele said he and Cantlay treated the Kims with the 'utmost respect' in their match.
He claimed they were trying to quieten the crowds down when they were hitting and that the exchanges were 'give and take'.
"I have no clue if anyone was doing any of that [cursing]," Schauffele said.
"I don't believe any of our guys would do something like that. So I'm not sure what he was hearing."
