Golf fans react to hilarious new footage of Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica giving it large to his popular 'he's in your head' song while on the European Ryder Cup Party Bus.

A hilarious new video has gone viral of Rory McIlroy and his wife Erica singing his popular Ryder Cup song while on the European Team Party Bus.

McIlroy scored an impressive 3.5 points for the week as Luke Donald's Team Europe ran out deserved two-point victors at Bethpage Black in New York.

It marked the first away win at the Ryder Cup for any side since Europe had last performed the feat at the Miracle at Medinah in 2012.

McIlroy and his wife Erica were subjected to vile insults and abuse from a number of the home fans all weekend.

A drink was also thrown at Erica off the back of the 17th green.

Here’s the full scene as Rory McIlroy’s wife Erica got hit with a beer (glanced off her hat) on Saturday afternoon.

Rory and Lowry had just won on 18 and he was coming back to 17 to cheer on the groups behind — and celebrate with Euro fans.

Despite a late fightback from Keegan Bradley's Team USA in the Sunday singles, it was too little too late as Europe silenced the home fans in their own backyard.

The European celebrations went long into the night.

Mcilroy was seen trolling Bryson DeChambeau and Team Europe also had a message for United States President Donald Trump, who has since replied.

Shane Lowry, who stuck up for his best pal McIlroy when the insults and abuse was being hurled in his direction on Saturday afternoon, also took revelled in mocking captain Bradley.

After champagne corks flew by the practice putting green and the European players joined their adoring fans in the celebrations, it was time to jump aboard the European Team Party Bus for more drinks and big tunes.

In hilarious new video footage that has gone viral on golf social media, McIlroy's wife Erica is seen bellowing her husband's song at the top of her lungs as the rest of the European team join in.

McIlroy's now famous song was captured by GolfMagic in the 1st tee / 18th green grandstand as Europe lifted the Ryder Cup for a fifth time away from home.

The Ulsterman's song, 'He's in your head, Rory, Rory, Rory...' is sung to the tune of The Cranberries' Zombie.
