Ryder Cup: Watch this adorable moment between Rory McIlroy and teammate's son
Tommy Fleetwood's son Frankie was given a quick putting tip from Rory McIlroy during Team Europe's practice round at Bethpage Black on Tuesday.
Tommy Fleetwood's son Frankie seems to be making a habit of stealing the show.
The seven-year-old son of the European Ryder Cup star melted hearts during the 2025 Masters with a candid and honest interview during the par-three contest.
Frankie didn't quite have the length to carry the water and hit the ninth green.
But that didn't seem to faze the youngster. "'I've been practicing as hard as I can," he said. "Just not reaching it this year. But, I'm just trying my hardest."
His mature self-assessment and determination resonated widely, with fans also noticing the resemblance to his father.
Frankie is supporting his dad this week at Bethpage Black and was inside the ropes on Tuesday as the European team got some reps in before the dust-up gets underway on Friday morning.
We don't know what the opening pairings are yet but Tommy's "pod" included Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose and Shane Lowry.
Our Andy Roberts has taken a look at what this may mean.
One group of spectators implored Team Europe to let Frankie hit a putt on the 14th green.
McIlroy obliged and - after Frankie got a quick high-five and hug from dad - helped the youngster with his stance and alignment.
Watch:
Wholesome stuff.
Tommy collected three points from four matches two years ago when the Ryder Cup was held in Rome.
Luke Donald's team ran out five-point winners.
There's no doubt the European team will need more of the same from the Englishman if they are to have any chance of becoming a first team to win in hostile territory since 2012.
The Ryder Cup begins on Friday.
