Golf fans have pointed out Brooks Koepka will not be a fan of his first and second round threeballs at The Masters after being drawn alongside one of the slower players on the circuit in Brian Harman

Five-time major champion Koepka, 33, was fuming with the 'brutally slow' pace of play in front of him at last year's Masters Tournament, especially in the final round where he was following Patrick Cantlay.

Reigning Open champion Harman, 37, has frustrated plenty of golf fans this season with his deliberate pace of play and excessive number of waggles before hitting shots.

Plenty of golf fans believe The Masters Tournament Committee has done LIV Golf star Koepka dirty with his group for rounds one and two, especially in light of his comments about pace of play in 2023.

One golf fan said: "Augusta knows Brooks hates slow play, so what do they do? Pair him with the guy that club waggles 14 times before every shot!"

Another commented: "Oh wow, Brooks won't be happy about this draw!"

"They've paired my boy Brooks Koepka with Brian Harman, I think im going to drive my car into a lake," tweeted another.

Koepka and Harman will be joined by Tom Kim for the first two rounds on Thursday and Friday.

They will be teeing off at 1.36pm local time in the first round and 10.30am in round two.

Koepka has endured a fairly lacklustre start to the LIV Golf season with just one top-10 finish from five events.

Harman has not done a great deal either, but he did finish tied second at The Players Championship.

Kim has been badly out of form with just one top-20 finish all season.
