Scheffler takes solo lead

Bryson DeChambeau's bogey on the 18th hole means world No.1 Scottie Scheffler now holds the solo lead at seven under.

The greens are getting quicker, and the wind is getting stronger. Scheffler still has a lot of golf to play to maintain his position atop the leaderboard.

22:34
Water ball for McIlroy

Rory McIlroy finds the water with his second shot on the 11th.

He needs to switch on here if he wants to avoid flirting with the cut line.

The late starters really have drawn the short straw with these windy conditions.

22:29
Jon Rahm in danger of missing the cut

A dropped shot on the 11th puts Rahm at +4, meaning he's one shot below the cut line as things stand.

The Spaniard has his work cut out if he wants to ensure he's teeing it up this weekend.

22:24
A painful finish for Danny Willett

Willett cards a triple bogey on the 18th, completely undoing all his hard work.

The Englishman finishes the day at one under after carding a three-over 75.

Not scared to get his hands dirty, Bryson DeChambeau was papped carrying an Augusta sign post that got blown over in the wind.

22:12
We have moving balls

Gary Woodland was standing over his putt on the 16th hole when a gust of wind blew his ball 50 feet across the green.

Thankfully, he had marked it, so he was able to move the ball back. He then holed the putt for a par.

This wind is fierce at the moment.

Leaderboard at 22:03

Bryson DeChambeau -7 (15)

Scottie Scheffler -7 (10)

Max Homa -6 (-6)

Nicolai Hojgaard -4 (F)

Danny Willett -4 (17)

We are back

Apologies for the lack of updates.

Some minor technical difficulties prevented me from keeping you all in the loop with the latest action from Augusta National.

21:13
Back-to-back birdies for DeChambeau

There are no pictures on a scorecard.

DeChambeau has opened up some space at the top of the leaderboard thanks to a remarkable birdie on the 13th hole that saw him visit the 14th fairway on his travels.

Light work for the LIV Golf star.

21:09
Morikawa making moves

GolfMagic's videographer, William Ward, will be delighted to see Collin Morikawa make his fourth birdie of the day to move to -3 for the tournament.

Mr Ward is GoflMagic's resident Morikawa fan, and picked him as his winner on GolfMagic's Par FORE podcast.

20:59
History is made

Tiger Woods converts a five-footer for par on the 18th to become the first player to make 24 consecutive cuts at The Masters.

What a performance from the five-time champion.

He's played 23 holes today and has earned himself a well-deserved sit-down.

A level-par second round is remarkable, considering the tough conditions he's faced today.

Bravo Tiger!

20:47
DeChambeau takes the lead

After a beautiful tee shot on the 12-hole, DeChambeau backs it up with a confident birdie putt to take the lead, one shot ahead of Homa and Scheffler.

20:40
Augusta National baring its teeth

The firm conditions and fierce winds are making it difficult for even the best in the world.

A ten-handicapper would be struggling to break 120 out there today.

20:37
Rahm struggling to get to grips with the greens

Jon Rahm drops another shot on the 6th hole after he raced his long birdie putt past the hole and misses the one on the way back for par.

Bogeys on the 3rd and 6th. Not the start the 2023 champion would have wanted.

20:32
Bogeys coming thick and fast

Both Scottie Scheffler and Bryson DeChambeau make bogeys to drop shots, which means Max Homa now has a piece of the lead at -6.

Scheffler missed a two-footer on the 5th hole, while DeChambeau missed the green with his approach on the tough 11th hole, which led to the dropped shot.

20:14
Leaderboard at 20:14 BST

DeChambeau -7 (10)

Scheffler -7 (4)

Homa -6 (15)

Willett -5 (11)

Hojgaard -4 (F)

20:12
Birdie for Woods

For the third time today, Woods has followed up a bogey with a birdie, and the five-time Masters champion is now in a great position to make a record-breaking 24 consecutive cuts at Augusta National.

Woods is sat at +1, well inside the projected cut, which is currently +5.

20:01
Nicolai Hojgaard leader in the clubhouse

The young Dane holds the lowest score in the clubhouse after shooting a one over 73 with back-to-back bogeys on his final two holes.

He's currently tied for fourth with New Zealand's Ryan Fox at -4.

With the course playing tough today, Hojgaard's score puts him in a great spot to contend over the weekend.

Despite the disappointing finish to his round, it's been a stellar performance so far from the rookie.

19:45
So close from Scheffler

Following a fantastic approach shot on the 3rd hole, Scheffler watched his relatively short birdie putt slide by the hole.

You have to think that if he keeps giving himself these chances, he could really run away with it today.

19:35
Clumsy from Rahm

Jon Rahm putts his ball off the front of the green on the 4th hole.

He now has work to do in order to save par.

Very unlike the 2023 Masters champion to be so heavy-handed with the flat stick.

19:30
Scheffler joins DeChambeau at the top

Scottie Scheffler rolls in a three-footer on the second for Birdie to take him to -7.

He now joins DeChambeau for the lead.

Ominous signs for the rest of the field as Scheffler is looking very dangerous early in the round.

19:21
Young's ball goes for a swim

Cameron Young finds the water again, this time on the 13th hole.

The American was five under not too long ago, but a bogey, double bogey and now this penalty means he's struggling to keep up with the leaders.

19:16
Leaderboard at 19:15 BST

DeChambeau -7 (7)

Hojgaard -6 (16)

Homa -6 (12)

Scheffler -6 (1)

Willett -4 (9)

19:05
DeChambeau takes the lead

Bryson's putter is heating up?

The big-hitting American has taken the outright lead after sinking a 20-foot birdie putt on the 7th hole.

Scheffler couldn't make his birdie putt on the 1st, so he remains in second place with Homa and Hojgaard.

19:00
Scottie Scheffler is quite good at golf

The world No.1 has stiffed his first approach shot of the day on the 1st to give him a great chance at taking the outright lead.
