PGA Tour star Max Homa believes Tiger Woods 'can very much win another golf tournament' on the eve of this week's US PGA at Valhalla.

Homa, 33, addressed the topic of Woods with a pool of reporters ahead of the second major of the season in Louisville.

The six-time PGA Tour winner considers 15-time major champion Woods, 48, has at least another victory in the locker before he calls time on his career.

Woods currently shares the all-time wins record (82) on the PGA Tour with late great Sam Snead.

The former World No.1 recently confirmed he would be attempting to compete in at least one tournament per month moving forwards.

Woods admits the hardest thing for him to do is walk golf courses following his ankle surgery last season, as a direct result of his horror car crash in February 2021.

Prior to that, Woods had a series of back surgeries, something that has plagued the back end of his legendary golf career.

Last week, a Champions Tour pro said he expected Woods to embrace a career on the PGA Tour Champions in two years' time once he becomes eligible.

He'll also get to use a golf cart.

Max Homa believes Tiger Woods can still win another tournament

Homa feels strongly about Woods' chances of more silverware in the future after teeing it up with him for the first two rounds at The Masters.

Woods made history at Augusta National last month by setting a new consecutive cuts made record (24) at The Masters.

But he would sadly finish dead last of those that made the cut after a tough weekend.

Homa went on to finish a career-best T3.

When pressed by a reporter as to whether Woods could win again, Homa said today:

"Yeah, his golf game was incredible [at Augusta]. Two days I played with him he hit a great. If he had made anything he would have been right around the lead. So, it was tough draw for him in that we had to play 20-odd some holes the second day. He wasn't limping too bad. So, yeah, I think he's got a decent amount. I think at some point it probably just comes down to him, just how badly does he want it. I feel like we all know he wants it real bad, so I feel like it is just kind of on that. But his skill level, his talent is still just mesmerizing. So, yeah, I don't know his playing schedule going forward, you know I know he plays in these big ones. I feel like it would, it always would be crazy to think he would win another one. But watching him play those two days at Augusta, I very much thought he could win another golf tournament. So I don't know tank-wise, but he works his ass off and he's really, really good at golf so I would put nothing past him at this point."
