Los Angeles Country Club not only plays host to the 2023 US Open but also two of the four longest par-3 holes in the major championship's history this week.

The par-3 7th measures a giant 284 yards in the first round, but even that is outdone by the whopping 290-yard 11th

According to USGA archives, the 11th and 7th holes at LA Country Club rank as the third and fourth longest holes in the event's 123-year history.

The 11th will play a tad shorter than its initial yardage on Thursday, however, as it consists of a 40-foot drop in elevation between the tee box and the green.

This is said to make the hole play around 20 yards shorter at 270 yards.

Players are greeted with a beautiful vantage point of the LA skyline on the 11th.

As you will see from the table below, Oakmont features six of the top-10 longest played par-3 holes.

Merion and Shinnecock also feature.
