It's major week once again and with the best players in the world preparing to tee it up at Kiawah Island, we have listed 10 players in our PGA Championship Player Power Rankings.

We've seen plenty of players find their form once again on the PGA Tour over the past few months and after Hideki Matsuyama made history at The Masters, who knows what is in store for the second major of the year this week.

Kiawah Island is where Rory McIlroy won his first PGA Championship back in 2012 and with the Northern Irishman recently ending his winless drought on the PGA Tour, he has leapt to the top of the market with the bookmakers as the favourite for the tournament.

So with the PGA Championship just days away, take a look at GolfMagic's Player Power Rankings:

JORDAN SPIETH

After coming close to falling outside the top 100 in the world, Spieth bounced back to form in 2021 and picked up a PGA Tour victory at the Valero Texas Open.

Now up to World No.26, Spieth has every chance of adding a fourth major to his impressive list of accomplishments.

BRYSON DECHAMBEAU

The reigning US Open champion has not slowed down since winning his first major and continued his run of form with a win at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which was followed up with a T3 finish at The Players Championship.

RORY MCILROY

Tournament favourite Rory McIlroy ended his year-and-a-half wait for another PGA Tour victory with a win at the Wells Fargo Championship and now he returns to the place where he lifted his first of two PGA Championships.

JON RAHM

With six top 10's in his last seven starts, Rahm's game is in excellent shape as the Spaniard - who recently became a father for the first time - looks to win his first major title.

JUSTIN THOMAS

World No.2 Justin Thomas gave his season a much-needed boost when he won The Players Championship at TPC Sawgrass. With a prestigious victory like that in the bag already, Thomas goes into the PGA Championship as one of the most feared players in the field.

VIKTOR HOVLAND

At just 23 years of age, Hovland has made a name for himself as one of the most consistent players on the PGA Tour, destined for greatness. The Norwegian heads to Kiawah Island with back-to-back T3 finishes after impressive outings at the Valspar Championship and the Wells Fargo Championship.

XANDER SCHAUFFELE

Four top 10's in his last 10 starts, Xander Schauffele is another player who has come close to major success, most recently at The Masters where he ended up sharing third place.

DUSTIN JOHNSON

Two victories in his last 10 stars - including the 2020 Masters title - Dustin Johnson is sitting pretty as World No.1 and will be hopeful of a third major trophy this week.

SAM BURNS

Up to 36th in the world rankings, Sam Burns recently claimed his first PGA Tour title at the Valspar Championship and came close to making it back-to-back wins, but finished second at last week's AT&T Byron Nelson.
