Adams Golf has redesigned transitional hybrids with a Truss back design in its Idea a12 OS ladies irons for 2013.
The new design allows for more weight to be distributed to the perimeter of the club, lowering the centre of gravity and providing more forgiveness making them better suited to bridging any gapping issues between hybrids and irons.
In addition, Adams' innovative Velocity Slot technology gives a spring-like effect across the clubface, improving forgiveness and increasing launch angle without increasing spin.
The Grafalloy ProLaunch Blue graphite shafts installed in this set feature Axis technology where thin layers of graphite are aligned in multiple orientations for stability. This effectively increases the efficiency in energy transfer from the golfer to the ball and reduces off-plane bending to keep the clubhead on line for increased accuracy.
Blue is the first lightweight shaft designed specifically for oversized club heads.
