Callaway launched Apex 19

Callaway has launched its brand new Apex 19 and Apex Pro 19 irons for 2019, including a stunning 'Smoke' edition.

Apex 19

Apex 19 chrome

The ultimate forged players irons. Crafted from a new multi-piece construction that is engineered to deliver a premium forged design, combined with innovative ball speed technology to provide players with long distance and optimal trajectory.

Forged from a 1025 mild carbon steed body, the Apex 19 provides players with an extremely soft feel. The carbon steel body produces a solid sound for confident ball striking, while the urethane microspheres incorporate over one million tiny air pockets that absorb vibration without taking away speed.

The long and mid irons feature Callaway's renowned 360 Face Cup to promote high ball speeds across the face, while the short irons feature a spin control VFT Face. By using advanced MIM'D Tungsten Weighting, the position of the centre of gravity has been precisely located in each iron for optimum launch and control.

The Apex 19 is also available in a stunning black graphite version with a 'Smoke' finish.

The RRP is £1,299 (steel, available January 25) or £1,399 (graphite, available February 22).

Apex Pro 19

Apex Pro 19

The Apex Pro 19 is Callaway's first ever forged Tour performance iron with distance technology. This iron provides better players with all the benefits of a Tour-level design, without sacrificing ball speed or distance.

The production process of the Apex Pro 19 saw extensive input from Callaway's top Tour professionals. Their detailed feedback and exacting standards played a significant role in how Callaway developed a classic look, and a beautiful Tour shape that the best players want to see.

Extremely soft feel comes from a forged 1025 mild carbon steel body and for the first time ever, Callaway designed its proprietary urethane microspheres into a forged Tour performance iron. The 1025 carbon steel body provides amazing Apex sound and feel that golfers love, and the urethane microspheres incorporate over one million tiny air pockets that absorb unwanted vibration without slowing the face.

Long, consistent distance in the long and mid irons comes from the 360 Face Cup, which promotes high ball speeds across the face. Face Cup Technology produces high ball speeds in a Tour performance iron. In the short irons, a spin control VFT Face is used for aggressive shot-making in your scoring clubs.

To further enhance the level of scoring performance and shot-making that the pros demand, an average of 50 grams of Tungsten has been infused into each iron to locate the CG positioning for exceptional ball flight and pinpoint control.

The Apex 19 is also available in a stunning black graphite version with a 'Smoke' finish.
