Dylan Frittelli won his first PGA Tour title on Sunday, shooting a closing round of seven under par to beat Russell Henley at the John Deere Classic. The South African didn't drop a single shot during his Saturday and Sunday rounds and only made one bogey during the entire tournament.

The win secured Frittelli's 2020/21 PGA Tour card and also guarenteed him a place in next year's Masters, PGA Championship and the Players Championship.

Frittelli will also be playing at Royal Portrush this week as he secured the last spot in this year's Open Championship.

The South African has two wins on the European Tour but can now say he is a PGA Tour winner as well. In Frittelli's last two starts on Tour prior to the John Deere Classic, he has finished in T46.

"I don't want to say it was easy out there. It just felt a whole lot easier than it has been the last few weeks," Frittelli said. "I calmed my nerves down."
