Akshay Bhatia snapped wearing top secret golf shoes at The Masters
The American and apparel sponsor TravisMathew appear to be cooking up something new.
TravisMathew is popular for the world over for its high-quality, minimalist take on golf apparel and penchant for fun collaborations (we're still thinking about last year's Open-themed Guinness collab.
However its shoes, while inoffensive, tend to get overlooked somewhat for both their looks and their high-end performance.
That looks to be changing soon, however, as the Callaway-owned brand has some top-secret prototypes out on the feet of ambassador Akshay Bhatia this week.
The American serves as TravisMathew's key ambassador, having collaborated on a limited apparel collection with the brand that he still regularly wears on tour.
He's spent most of this season wearing an older model from the brand, and also released a limited "Favourite Time of the Year" version of the Nuage Mega golf shoe a couple of weeks ago. However the new shoe seems to have a slightly sleeker profile with a more athletic look.
