Englishman Marco Penge has had quite the 2025.

This time last year, it appeared the Horsham native's career was in jeopardy, Penge having just been slapped with a four-month ban for betting on golf tournaments. His return to the professional fold at this year's Hainan Open, however, was nothing less than a triumph. Penge won the tournament in April in convincing fashion, and has since emerged as one of the DP World Tour's most in-form players.

Currently second in the Race to Dubai rankings, Penge entered 2025 ranked lower than 400th in the world. At the time of writing, he's 31st, having just secured a Masters berth with victory at the Open de España over the weekend.

Big things, then, are clearly on the way for Penge. But with speculation mounting over his future, and an almost certain leap across the pond to the big leagues of the PGA Tour once he earns his tour card at the end of the season, more and more attention is being placed on the equipment Penge plays.

The fact that he's a Mizuno staffer, of course, only adds to the allure, as he plays a host of the Japanese OEM's clubs including, notably for a brand still not that well-known for its woods, one of their drivers.

Here, then, is every club this meteoric talent is playing right now.

Driver: Mizuno ST-X 230

It's no secret that for all of Mizuno's prolificness on tour from an iron standpoint, they've long struggled to get the game's best ball-strikers – even those signed to the company – into their metal woods. Penge, one of the DP World tour's fastest players, is the exception. In fact, he's played his ST-X 230 driver, released back in 2023, for some time now. The ST-X is a unique model, combining a forward CG and an overall lower-spinning profile with a more draw-biased design. As it's a decidedly older model, you can also grab one for under £200 right now before it sells out for good.

Mini driver: TaylorMade BRNR Mini

Penge is a confirmed mini driver convert, having introduced the retro stylings of TaylorMade's BRNR Copper mini driver into his bag midway through this season in place of his former three-wood. He hasn't taken it out since.

Irons: Mizuno Pro

Penge plays a host of Mizuno's tour-design Pro series of irons, calling upon the line-up both for his utility iron and standard irons. The Englishman plays a Mizuno Pro Fli Hi 2-iron, which serves as a gapping option between his mini driver and irons in lieu of a hybrid, and games the brand's S-3 blades between a 4-iron and a pitching wedge.

Wedges: Titleist Vokey Design

Penge is one of many players signed to other brands who have nonetheless worked Titleist's Vokey wedges into his bag, seemingly preferring the feel and look of the Vokeys above even Mizuno's own much-acclaimed Pro wedge line.

Putter: Scotty Cameron GOLO 6.2 Tour Prototype

A rarely seen profile from the Scotty Cameron workshop, the GOLO is an experimental, half-moon mallet designed to produce high MOI and maximum forgiveness in a more compact profile. Based on the Super Select GOLO 6 head shape, the GOLO 6.2 was released to the public in limited quantities late last year, but rapidly sold out.

Interestingly, the GOLO is Penge's third putter model used in as many wins on the DP World Tour this year, with his other wins coming using a Scotty Cameron Super Rat I and a Scotty Cameron Phantom 5.2 Tour Proto respectively.
