When talk of the golfing greats turns to Arnold Palmer, two facts are indisputable. Few ever won more than The King, and no-one looked more stylish doing so.

The American, who racked up 95 professional wins in his career and seven majors, was the great golfing trendsetter of his era. Alongside Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player, he was part of a triumvirate of dominance that helped bring golf to a new audience around the world. And as the most sartorially flamboyant of the three, he helped usher in an period of golfing style now widely regarded as one of its golden eras.

PUMA has a lengthy track record of honouring Palmer's contribution to the game, the German sportswear brand having collaborated with his estate since 2019 to release collections mainly centred around his yearly memorial tournament. More recently, however, the collaboration has become something of a vessel in which PUMA can release limited-edition collections aimed at taking vintage golfwear and giving it a performance-led twist.

Such is the case in the brand's new Arnold Palmer AW25 collection, which features a number of pieces and palates throwing it back to the classic sportswear of the '1960s. To achieve this effect, PUMA leaned on the 2025 Pantone colour of the year, a dusty shade of chocolate brown known as Mocha Mousse, accenting it with clean white and bronze, as well as subtle pops of pale pink and gold.

The collection features a number of pieces that nod to the more textural golf wear that prevailed up until the late 20th century. A handsome Jacquard polo shirt is the collection's highlight, while Palmer also gets a tribute shoe in a rework of the Classic G leather sneaker.

In addition to the more classically-styled pieces, a number of garments are also included that bring the collection more towards the needs of the modern style-conscious golfer. The capsule includes a matching knitted golf hoodie, as well as a selection of polos with playful rugby stripes and a print inspired by the iconic Iced Tea drink named after Palmer.

“Arnold Palmer didn’t just follow trends, he set them. With the help of his family and friends, the PUMA team created a collection that channels Mr. Palmer’s legacy of pushing boundaries in style and presence,” said Chris MacNeill, Global Director of Apparel and Accessories at PUMA Golf. “Just like The King himself, PUMA encourages golfers to play boldly.”

As with all the Arnold Palmer collections to come before it, the distinctive Umbrella motif that has become synonymous with both Palmer and his yearly tournament features heavily throughout.

The collection also caters for the ladies in a bunch of fun ways, with a capsule of dresses, rugby shirts, sleeved and sleeveless polos, and trousers.
