Bettinardi is a brand well-recognised for creating some of the best putters in the business, with many of the world's best players, including Matt Fitzpatrick, Jason Kokrak, and Freddie Couples, relying on them.

Currently offering four different ranges, Bettinardi has updated both the BB Series and the INOVAI Series for 2024.

We recently tested the BB-1W, and it's undoubtedly one of the best putters of 2024, so we were excited to get our hands on the INOVIA 10.0, a high MOI wide-body blade design.

Offering a multi-material construction, Roll Control milled face and optimised weighting, the 10.0 is designed to offer a blade-like profile with the forgiveness you would typically expect from a mallet.

To see how the putter performed, we took it down to Mannings Heath Golf and Wine Estate.

Let's get into it.

Player Level

The INOVAI 10.0 is suitable for golfers of all abilities. Its forgiving design makes it an excellent choice for high-handicap golfers, while the milled face delivers the kind of feel and feedback that the better player will greatly appreciate.

Bettinardi INOVAI 10.0 Looks and Feel

Bettinardi certainly has pedigree when it comes to making good-looking putters, and the INOVAI 10.0 hasn't deviated from that rich history.

Sat behind the ball, the putter has a deep square head, which features three alignment lines, split up between the face and the body.

The two-tone colour scheme also clearly signifies the separation between the stainless steel face and the aluminium body.

Personally, we would have preferred a single-colour design, but the look is by no means offensive.

From toe to heel, the head looks relatively compact, and it allows you to easily align the ball with the centre of the face. The three alignment aids also help, with the single line allowing you to line up to target, while the two at the back frame the ball nicely with the head.

Turn the putter over, and the sole has a fantastic finish. Milled detailing and bright white branding and text add luxury touches to the overall design.

All in all, the INOVAI 10.0 is a lovely-looking putter which delivers on the brand's commitment to premium aesthetics and attention to detail.

In terms of feel, the INOVAI 10.0 feels soft off the face and also produces a lovely muted sound at impact.

One issue we had with the BB-1W was that the nose it made was quite high-pitched and metallic. However, the INOVAI doesn't suffer from the same issue.

Struck from the centre of the face, the INOVAI 10.0 delivers a smooth roll, and we found that there was also a suitable amount of feedback from poorer strikes.

All in all, the INOVAI 10.0 looks great both in hand and at address, and the premium aesthetics are only matched by the beautiful soft feel you receive at impact.

A big thumbs up from us.

Bettinardi INOVAI 10.0 Performance and Forgiveness

Having enjoyed a very successful time on the practice green with the BB-1W, our expectations were sky-high for the INOVAI 10.0.

Thankfully, the putter not only matched our expectations but far exceeded them.

Thanks to the high MOI design, we found we were holing putts from everywhere.

The head feels incredibly stable on take back, which allowed us to putt confidently, knowing the head would return to square at impact.

In terms of speed, we found that even when struck slightly out of the heel or toe, our ball still managed to find its way to near the hole, with the drop-off in distance from mishits being minimal.

From poor strikes, we also found the roll was remarkably consistent, with no skidding or jumping off the face.

Like any golfer, we inevitably hit some less-than-optimal putts, but the INOVAI 10.0 did an excellent job of keeping our ball as straight and accurate as possible.

It also has to be mentioned that the three alignment lines make setting your ball on the right line very easy.

Typically, we favour a single line, but the three worked well in tandem to allow us to dictate the right starting line with ease.

All in all, the INOVAI 10.0 is hard to fault. The roll is pure, the forgiveness is top-tier, and the in-hand feel is very solid.

We've tested a number of very forgiving putters in 2024, but this one is right up there with the best of the lot.

Should you buy a Bettinardi INOVAI 10.0 putter?

If you're looking to upgrade your putter in 2024 and are willing to pay a premium price, the Bettinardi INOVAI 10.0 should be at the top of your wish list.

Delivering bags of forgiveness, premium looks, and a beautiful soft feel, the INOVAI 10.0 is another big tick in Bettinardi's box.

While we do love this putter, we do have to mention the price. At £399, it's right at the top of the pay scale, and while it certainly delivers results, it's worth noting that there are putters available for almost half the price that deliver similar results.

That being said, if you want a premium putter constructed using only the best materials, the INOVAI 10.0 is undoubtedly one of the best.
