Brooks Koepka has taken to social media to hit back at Golf Channel's Paige Mackenzie after the Morning Drive host claimed "he should've been fined by the PGA Tour" for his Twitter post that was clearly aimed at Bryson DeChambeau.

Earlier this week, Koepka, who has had run-ins with DeChambeau about his slow play antics in the past and also clashed in a strange argument about who had the better abs, decided to poke the bear by tweeting a Kenny Powers GIF about steroids.

While Koepka did not directly tweet the GIF to DeChambeau, nor did he say it was about him, it was fairly evident as to who it was aimed at given the pair's recent history on social media.

After seeing Koepka's tweet, Mackenzie called the tweet "completely unprofessional" and then added "it's beyond 'shots fired' and I think he should've been fined by the PGA Tour and I certainly hope that he is."

"You don't treat your fellow competitors that way," said Mackenzie.

Koepka then hit back 24 hours later when replying to a Golf Digest photo on Instagram which asked readers to 'caption this'.

The four-time major champion replied with: "When you hear that annoying voice on tv and look up and see it's @paigegolf."
