Believe it or not but golf can be a pretty dangerous sport at times. In fact, in a recent study conducted by GolfSupport.com, golf proved to cause more injuries than both American football and rugby.

The majority of golf injuries are muscular and are caused by swinging the club too quickly without warming up, leading to pains and strains, but every now and then it's something more serious.
