'I do': Golfer gate-crashes greenside WEDDING ceremony to play a chip shot

Having your special day outside in the sunshine must be something all happy couples aspire to have.

On a beach, in your favourite place in the world or even on the beautiful surroundings on a golf course.

But what happens when the inevitable happens and a player sends his approach short a little bit offline while in the middle of your vows.

This appears to have happened and a video has been circulating the Internet showing the ceremony being interrupted.

The guests appear to be good-humoured about it all and pause to give him the silence he needs to execute the shot.

After he nips one onto the green, the player gets a nice little round of applause from the wedding guests.

The player duly thanks the round by putting up his hand and then runs off towards the green with both arms above his head in celebration.

Thank god he didn't chunk it.

There's no word about how the bride and groom reacted, but we guess the player's blue shorts could have been her 'something blue'.

The video, captured by the Instagram user mario_colace, is captioned: 'Don't have your wedding on a golf course'.
