LPGA Tour star Carly Booth becomes American Golf and Online Golf ambassador

International Leisure Group Ltd, incorporating American Golf and Online Golf, has secured a two-year partnership with LET and LPGA Tour player Carly Booth.

Booth will take on an ambassador role, alongside an apparel sponsorship and promotion of the Stromberg, Golfino and Benross brands, effective from February 1 2022.

Championing inclusivity and diversity within golf, Carly, 29, will stand beside ILG to drive forward positive change in the industry.

This will build upon the group’s proven commitment to this cause, demonstrated through its support of progressive tournaments such as the Rose Ladies Series and the ISPS HANDA World Invitational, as well as its partnership with former World No.1 disability golfer, Brendan Lawlor.

Having played golf from the age of five, Carly will encourage juniors to discover golf, inspire female participation and support efforts to showcase disability golf.

"The landscape for female golfers has changed dramatically over the last 20 years, with international brands like American Golf stepping up to ensure course inclusivity," Booth said.

"I'm looking forward to helping ILG lead this conversation, by supporting exciting female apparel launches, the business’ sponsorship of equal opportunity tournaments - such as HANDA World Invitational and the Rose Ladies Series - and their Leisure Range developments.

"We are delighted to announce our partnership with Carly, who is an inspirational figure in the world of golf," said Gary Favell, CEO of American Golf.

"Carly shares our passion for positive change and as a business, we have long admired her work ethic and determination to achieve success."
