Some par saves are better than others, especially when you hit your tee shot into a golf referee's buggy.
That's exactly what happened to Nicole Garcia in the opening round of the Open de Espana on the Ladies European Tour yesterday. Watch the comical moment below... the ref's reaction is comedy gold:

The South African makes a contender for par of the season after finding the referee's buggy with her tee shot! pic.twitter.com/Nl3fGx6ygB
Garcia sent her tee shot way to the right of the green at the 176-yard 8th hole, and her ball bounded straight into the front compartment of the watching referee's buggy.
The South African appeared to love every moment of the incident as she took out her phone to record the moment before taking her free drop.
Garcia then played a superb pitch across the green and holed the putt from inside of 10 feet for par.
Unfortunately for Garcia, she went on to post a 4-over 76 to sit well off the pace and outside the top 50 heading into round two.
