Richard Boxall has a shocker live on air, and Ian Poulter doesn't let him off lightly!
Sky Sports Golf commentator Richard Boxall made a complete hash of the word "ranking" live on air during the Omega European Masters last week - and Ian Poulter, like many other golf fans, found it hilarious!
Boxall was discussing the lofty rise in the world rankings of Lucas Bjerregaard, but things did not quite pan out how he planned. Let's just say you could have excused Jonathan Ross.

After learning of Boxall's mishap, Poulter was all over it on social media.
The European Ryder Cup star tweeted: "This has made my day... Nick in the edit room whilst Richard Boxall chose a slightly different word... I’ve done that once or twice boxy it’s ok... I mean said something I shouldn’t. I don’t fancy going blind (crying laughter faces)."
Poulter recently confirmed he will be teeing up in the upcoming BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, which will arguably receive its greatest ever lineup with a number of the world's best players taking to the fairways in Virginia Water, Surrey.
The Englishman is currently enjoying a mini break since failing to make the season-ending Tour Championship, but his recent performances on Tour have been impressive with three top-15 finishes in his last five starts.

Boxall's howler live on air marked the second comical moment on the European Tour last week.
Rory McIlroy was spotted throwing a piece of paper at the camera in the recorder's hut, but the European Tour scorer was not amused in the slightest.
McIlroy missed out on his first European Masters title after losing a five-man playoff to Sebastian Soderling, who drained a 12-foot putt for birdie at the first extra hole.
The Northern Irishman will join Poulter in the BMW PGA at Wentworth in two weeks time.
