Worthing Golf Club has taken to social media to reveal that five of its members made a hole-in-one last week. 

The historic Sussex club tweeted that one ace was made on Monday July 13, and it was then followed by another on Thursday July 17, before a hat-trick of them arrived on Saturday July 18. 

 

 

"5 Hole in Ones in a week!" tweeted Worthing Golf Club. 

"Congratulations to Derek Utton (13/7), Cousins Philip Albon (17/7) & Keith Albon (18/7), Ben Colbourne (18/7) and in the next very group off the tee, Paul Atterbury did the same! 

"There must be something in the water!"

 

 

Worthing Golf Club is a two downland course golf club in West Sussex that provides golfers with a driving range and an active clubhouse.

The Club offers a Lower (Championship) Course and an Upper Course both with 18 holes as well as a 7-hole par 3 course.

The course was established in 1905 and occupies a commanding position on the slopes of the South Downs providing wonderful scenery of the Downs and Channel. 

The club recently introduced a 3-month trial membership for £375 that includes access to both Colt (Lower) and Vardon (Upper) Courses.

Benefits include unlimited golf on the Vardon (Upper) Course, 4 x 18-hole rounds on the Colt (Lower) Course after 12pm at the weekend, one private induction and coaching session, full access of the practice facilities, social membership of the club, as well as quailifying for £200 off the joining fee when converting to a full playing membership.
