The wife of LIV Golf pro Pat Perez has commented on Instagram she "would absolutely love to watch Rory McIlroy get punched in the face".
Ashley Perez wrote the comment on an Instagram post of McIlroy seeing red in the car park following his bust-up with caddie Joe LaCava on the 18th green in the Saturday Fourballs at the Ryder Cup.

It's fair to say Ashley is never one to shy away from speaking her mind on the latest incidents involving the biggest players in the world.
Ashley went on an epic video rant as to why her husband had left the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf in 2022.
She also broke the news that he was joining LIV Golf prior to the circuit even informing golf fans about the news.

Perez now finds himself on Dustin Johnson's 4 Aces GC, which also comprises Peter Uihlein and Patrick Reed.
The 4 Aces won the season team championship on LIV Golf in 2022.
Ashley also had some strong comments where Woods' horror car crash was concerned.
She also hit out at Patrick Cantlay's now wife Nikki Guidish.
Golf biographer Alan Shipnuck revealed yesterday a time when Ashley accompanied her husband, Johnson and his wife Paulina Gretzky and Brooks Koepka in a private bar where it all kicked off during the JP McManus Pro-Am at Adare Manor in Ireland.
