Tiger Woods sent THREE balls into the water on the iconic par-3 12th hole in the final round of The Masters at Augusta National.

Woods, who was already 2-over par for his Sunday round when entering the 12th hole, plonked his tee shot into the water and then did the same again with his third shot from the drop zone.

The five-time Masters champion then compounded the mistake by sending his fifth shot into the back bunker, and with an awkward stance, Woods thinned his bunker shot through the green and back into the water.

He then played his eighth shot from the bunker and left it short in the fringe, before two-putting from there for a disastrous 10 - marking Woods' worst ever one-hole score in his Masters career. His previous worst score at The Masters was an eight.

The worst-ever score on this par-3 12th hole is a 13 - set by Tom Weiskopf back in 1980.

As a result of Woods' 10 at the 12th hole, the 15-time major champion slumped to 9-over par for 12 holes and to 4-over par for the tournament.

However, despite his major blip at the 12th, Woods recovered superbly and rattled in five birdies on his remaining six holes to finish at 1-under par for the tournament. Woods signed for a final-round of 4-over 76.
