For those, in these times of austerity, unable to afford its latest top of the range White Ghost putters costing between £125 and £150, TaylorMade is introducing what it describes are more affordable models - yet with most of the features of its more glamorous family.
The three new White Ghost Smoke Series models - the IN-12, IN-74 and MC-72 - each have a classic shape, will incorporate the same three black alignment lines to help keep the putter face square and the Tour-inspired ‘pure roll’ face insert.
The main difference is the price - recommended at £95 - and available from March 25.
“This gives all golfers the opportunity to play a white TaylorMade putter with its insert technology,” says Michael Fox, TaylorMade’s product line manager, who adds that they will be available in three shaft lengths – 33, 34 and 35 inches – and for both right and left-handers.
